Parkour is much more complex than honing a set of skills you have seen on youtube. It is a journey of self discovery. There are multitudes of training methods, skills to learn, and philosophies to practice. All of which are not there to teach you one right way to do things, but are there to guide you in making the choices that are right for your training.

If parkour can't be learned, why classes?

The coaching style at Inlet Parkour is far different than what you see elsewhere. We consider ourselves tour guides. To beginners, we are here to show them where the path begins. We walk them along using our own maps and teach them how to safely diverge from the path to discover new ways of training. At some point they will figure out how to find their own way. It is at this point we invite them to join team and give them a choice. If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.
